• Family Survey Request for Proposals (RFP) -
  First 5 LA is issuing this Request for Proposals to qualified groups interested in conducting a semi-annual survey of families in the fourteen Best Start communities. • CALL FOR REVIEWERS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS -
  First 5 LA seeks qualified proposal reviewers for a Request for Proposals for groups to conduct a semi-annual survey of families in the fourteen Best Start communities. The selected reviewer will have expertise with survey administration methodologies, particularly in culturally diverse communities. • Information and Technology Planning Consultant Request for Proposals (RFP) -
  First 5 LA seeks a consultant to help us with the technology planning process. This consultant will, among other tasks; collect data from managers and staff throughout First 5 LA, from other First 5 commissions, from document review and other sources to document current and projected information and data needs. Report on the process and findings of the analysis of First 5 LA's current technology usage (software and hardware). Write a technology plan for First 5 LA for the next five years.   Through this RFQ, First 5 LA will identify a pool of qualified community facilitators to potentially serve one of the 13 target communities through the Best Start Community Partnership Facilitator Pool RFQ. • SRI Fund Development RFQ - CLOSED
  In September of 2007, the School Readiness Initiative launched the implementation of First 5 LA's Sustainability Project tailored specifically for School Readiness Grantees to support their efforts of developing and implementing plans to sustain high-quality outcomes for children ages 0 to 5. Through a structured eight-month, team-based curriculum, School Readiness Grantees were able to assess funding needs as well as develop comprehensive short- and long-term sustainability plans.

  Through this RFQ First 5 LA will offer fund development resources to SR Grantees that do not have the internal capacity to implement their sustainability plans due to staff being occupied with the day-to-day responsibilities of operating their programs.  For more information, please click here.
